YouthBuild USA

YouthBuild is a youth and community development program that simultaneously addresses core issues facing low-income communities: housing, education, employment, crime prevention, and leadership development. In YouthBuild programs, low-income young people ages 16-24 work toward their GEDs or high school diplomas, learn job skills and serve their communities by building affordable housing, and transform their own lives and roles in society.

YouthPRO’s mission is to advance the professional practice of youth development. Indiana YouthPRO Association (YouthPRO) began as the Indiana School Age Consortium (ISAC) in 1986 and transformed to YouthPRO in January of 2007. While ISAC traditionally was associated with "school-age care," YouthPRO is reaching out to all who provide services to youth ages 5 to 18 in a variety of settings. This shift tracks with the national movement to broaden professional services for workers in all areas of child and youth development, a field that is growing in size and scope.
